Default A silver Cub Scout ring

Went out to a favorite park today in the rain. The park has been worked over pretty well, so didn't expect to find much in the way of silver. Early on, got a 29 on the NOX jumbled up with some other signals, which happened to be other coins in close proximity. Was totally surprised to see the little Cub Scout ring in the hole, and then to find that it was sterling. Also found a Susan B. Anthony dollar, and a piece of costume jewelry that had me going for a second, along with the requisite sampling of clad. Thanks for looking & HH.

Love the boy scout ring. I found one two summers ago while I was swinging my Ace 400 at the time.

The park just keeps on giving. 2 gold rings, silver tie clasp and a couple of mercs as well.

Harkens back to a different era when kids were proud to be a scout. I was really surprised. Didn't even know they had made such things, in silver yet!

Score! You got a ring, a scout item, and sterling silver; all in one piece! The Susan B's are none too common either. Excellent hunt!

That is amazing! Didn't know they made sterling cub scout rings. A real beauty and historical find.

I have found several scout brass slides, but never any silver.
