Detector swing

Get a coil cover, keep you coil on the ground and slowly left to right. Walk SLOW. I get three passes per step usually. It has been mentioned above, coil overlap is KEY. The faster you walk, you leave big open gaps at the end of each swing. Try to walk a straight line to. Easier when there is dew on the grass. I try and line up with the mower wheel tracks if possible.
