Metal detecting,most exciting moments

Hello,
Sometimes there are moments that one remembers as special.
For me,one of these moments of excitment was to find deep in
the woods this aluminium box still closed. I waited until I came
home to open it.Unfortunately it was empty,even though I couldn't
find any numbers I am 100% sure it comes from 2WK.There still
are remains of army green paint
I only hope next time I will find some other box ,this time full
with coins or some secret written message

I know that feeling. I found a few metal contains that I was hoping held coins!

Ditto.
I LOVE finding old boxes/tins.. sometimes they have a little weight to them and maybe rattle a little.. So far have all turned out to be dirt inside.. but I love the anticipation of opening it.

Really,this is the 2nd. time I find something so amazing in all these years.
I once found this casing-in-casing ,one of them I think was a 9 mm.
I opened it carefully,hopping to find some treasure inside...but nothing:no
Third time will be my lucky time I hope :lol:
