Hopefully, the image attached to this. This is an area right by me, in NJ. While popping around on Google Earth, this just kind of jumped out at me. I'm not sure if it's something worth checking into or not. My area is full of limestone, and was often quarried here to make cement back in the day. But this is the first field I've seen like this. At this point, I have no idea if I can even get a permission for detecting it, of if I should bother going any farther. I haven't seen signs of any kind of structures in the historic images I can find (there aren't many). For the most part, the town's somewhat older (late 1800s), and the area was home to the Delaware Indians (I haven't found any artifacts in this area, but a few miles away I have).
Any ideas out there? Natural, and pointless? Somewhat interesting? Oh yea, go dig now!?
Thanks
