I haven't posted about my wireless upgrade because I made a mistake and the headphones were AptX but didn't specifically say AptX Low Latency. Fortunately for me this setup was smooth with no lag so possibly they used AptX LL but didn't specify that. Regardless the setup works very well.

I used the TaoTronics Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter and Receiver, 2-in-1 Wireless 3.5mm Adapter (aptX Low Latency, 2 Devices Simultaneously, For TV/Home Sound System/Car/Nintendo Switch)

Paired with TaoTronics Wireless Over Ear Headset Bluetooth Headphones with Microphone (Retro Design with Leather Ear Cup, aptX Natural High Clarity Sound, 20 Hours Playtime)

I bought this in December and I've probably got 40 hours on this setup. I've never had an issue with the battery in either the transmitter or the headphones and the lag isn't perceptible.

Here is a video for testing latency. I plugged the transmitter into my PC and used the headphones and couldn't detect any lag. I'm sure it would work plugging the transmitter into your phone as well.

Nice, I ordered the transmitter and will try it with some earbuds first. Not sure i want to get my bose headphones dirty.

Yes, my headphones have gotten pretty dirty.

Here are pics of my transmitter, cable and on my detector. I just used the red rubber wrist band as a temp solution but it works so well I saw no reason to add Velcro which was my original intention.
