What was the date of the latest coin I wonder ?
 
Wow, I don't think there is a better find out there! Very personal find too, you can only imagine why the [well payed] officer did not retrieve that!

But pulling the coins out with metal tweezers?!! And banging them on that metal bowl? That part was a little tough to watch. :roll:
 
Great find that for sure!I gotta say tho..made me ill watching him use metal tweezers and banging those coins on that bowl!!geez..after all that time waiting youd think hed be prepared with some rubber coated tweezers.I never could see what the last coin was ..the video went all blurry at the end.
 
It was dug last month at the Digging in Virginia (DIV) XI hunt in Culpepper County Virginia.
 
Thanks for the post. Definately the find of a lifetime.....I wonder what the combined value of those coins would be?
