Can you buy another metal pipe to leave attached to the sniper coil so it is easier to switch from the stock coil?

I've read of others doing this exact thing. I'm not sure where you buy the arm though.

You can get the lower rod from any of the vendors that carry Garrett detectors. The run right around $15

I bought shafts for ALL of my coils. It does make it easier and quicker to switch coils BUT be sure to buy the "hardware" ( translation: the plastic bolt and nut that hold the coil to the shaft!) as it does NOT come with the shafts. It's a few bucks more but if you go back and buy them later the shipping doubles the cost.
