Default Concave eagle A button

Dug this morning. It looked great until it dried. Any ideas of period ? Back stamp says Ledsam & sons. The eagle has an A in the shield. Oh and the button is a one piece concave type.

Cool button! From what I saw online, it looks like it dates earlier than 1850 because that company was bought out by another company. Looks to be a rare button perhaps!

Here's another button maker from London that produced a similar looking button. Like Dsm_mechva said, probably 1820's to 1830's.
