Help ID Block Zinn Pewter and date.

My father has this pewter bowl, I'm researching for him. I'm gathering its old, just not sure. And the markings, I can't find online. It is the Engel that I'm finding, however this one is holding the upright deer on the left and the scales on the right. I did find one with a deer, different shape to mark, though. This one is oval. Why do they all seem to be stamped 3 times?

Appears to be some sort of serving bowl with handles. I'm guessing unique to other simple bowls with the ribbed sides.

The more I look at the picture, I'm thinking it might not be a complete oval. Here is the closest stamp I found online.

This picture looks like possibly AD, top edge.
Is there a safe cleaner I could use, that wouldn't damage and maybe give me a better view of the stamp?

You need to take clearer photos, they're too blurry.
