Got the chance to detect an 1800s homestead near Beeville, TX. Found a neat little bottle and a tag from a sewing machine. Tag looks like it dates 1870-1880s. Back to my usual spots in Bryan, found a couple IHPs and a presidential token from the 60s. That token definitely had my heart racing for a second. Also found a strange piece with a design stamped in it.

cool! How do you find the bottles? Did you find it in the hole with another metal signal? I have found lots of metal bottle caps (some that are screwtops with some of the glass still there), but never a cool, complete bottle.

Yeah, turned out it was a nail, but the bottle was just above it. First time that’s ever happened to me.

Congratulations on the nice batch of finds. Love the Indians and other cool finds which to me are more fun than clad.
