Today I took my Equinox 800 to another park that I've pounded for the past few years. My very first hit turned out to be a 1938 Merc, in an area that I know I've gone over multiple times before (there was a nail buried right next to it, and I'll bet that's why I overlooked it previously).
It sure is nice to get my first silver of the new year in January for a change (instead of springtime - or later -- like I usually do!). I'm enjoying this good hunting weather here in PA - hope it lasts a while longer.
