....and KT got in His CRH Thursday night and Friday evening. Scattered NIFCs, until KT got to box 4 where He pulled a pretty Bennie and 7 beautiful proofs....funny, looked like someone just dumped those beauties the day before KT got em! Yet His Majesty knows the boxes were packed with rolls nearly a year ago...from the dates on the boxes.

Of the NIFCs, the first time KT has recovered 4 2012 dates...thinking perhaps coin dealers are now dumping their 2012 dates to buy 2013 bag from the Mint..:?:

Not a large number of silvers this hunt..only the one, but nice for it to be a Bennie! :kingdances::kingdances:

Enjoy the pics! KT missed all His Royal MDers while He was gone...since He went on His Majesties GoldWing, he decided not to take his compadre...Glad He did not, because the work was so tiring that He would not have felt like fooling with it after hours. :p

Enjoy the pics!:D

Sweetness man! Dang that's a lot of proofs! Is that a record for most proofs in one hunt for you? Congrats on the Bennie too!

Thanks, Donnybrook! Not a record but it is the best run of really nice ones KT has come across in a long time! All 7 of them, with the Bennie, were in box number 4 this week!

Seems like Box 3 & Box 4 have been the best boxes over the past several weeks.

And KT thanks all his friends in the forum who PMed His Majesty, concerned that He did not have a post or CRH hunt a couple of weeks ago...He was gone on a Church Mission Project and was out of town on Thursday so He cancelled his coin order for that week, just so He could have a more relaxing weekend and get some additional chores done around the Castle after arriving home.

Update on the trip: KT rode His Royal Steed, a 2008 metallic maroon Honda GoldWing 1800 down to Baldwin, Louisiana, and back. Left at 5 am on a Sunday morning and arrived at 2:45 pm...Considering He made 4 stops, 2 for meals, and 2 for gas, it was good time for a 386 mile jaunt. :D Both the trip down and the return trip on the following Friday were without incident, roads were clear and lightly traveled except around Alexandria, LA, then still not bad. KT stopped at a giant flea market north of Alexandria, and found a coin dealer, but his prices were too steep for KT to pull out the Royal Purse and fork over any paper for silver.:no: But it made a nice stretch break for the last leg of the trip. Most enjoyable work, and hope to be able to do it again next year!
