USS Arizona 1915 launch medal

Dug quite an interesting little piece of history last week not far from where it was first worn.
It was about ten inches deep- thought I had an old dog tag at first. I wish the rest of it was there though the ribbon would be rotted away by now I guess.

That's a pretty historic piece. My dad worked in the Brooklyn navy yard just before WW 2. He served in the navy too.

That would look good at the Arizona memorial in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii with your name next to it.

Nice. I never get tired of finding those old fobs, commemoratives, masonic things, etc... They look great in Shadow boxes. Evoke historic mental images, etc... Love the patina on yours.
