Trying to squeak a few more out of a lot that is in the process of being sold and then a house will be built there. I rescued a few from being hauled off in a dump truck or who knows what.

Love finding those , and the scrape marks is a story in itself. Very cool, makes a guy wonder what the soldiers were thinking about while killing time carving on some lead.
 
And I'm not sure what this thing is..

I need to know what that is!!!!
I have that same exact item somewhere, let me find it.

I found mine about 3 years ago at an old homesite and i have always dreamed that it is part of an old musket or civil war rifle:D

nice i was coming back with this pic but yep you got it.

Whites of Utica Antique Beer Stein Bier Stein Circa 1890s Hugo Billhardt German Style Lidded, looks alot like mine anyway.
