Lots of history here

Thx Jeff for the link... My aunt lives in Kennsington and I usually go up there to buy fireworks because they are illegal down here...

She lives near several farms dating to the early 1700's and I think this year I will take my detector with me...

I am from that area of S.W. N.H. Those towns are steeped in history. The 2 oldest coins I have found came from Langdon 1803 and Hancock 1836.......I knew a road agent in the town I lived who found about 100 coins at a place called Cathedral of the Pines. Most went back to the late 1800s........You won't get into that place to hunt, but any where the "Best Of New England" hunt is, you won't be sorry... George runs a great org. up there......Do it if you are near....Gil
