Finally I found a good replacement for My broken digger.

It's a new design made in the UK, which has some of the features of the well known Lesche, but with some of the features, which has been suggested from members at the Friendly metal detecting forum.

This digger is made of stainless steel, has serrations on both sides, a slightly curved blade and a nice handle. - It definately looks and feels like it will last a lifetime!

The handle is 12 cm, and the blade itself is 18 cm. Just about enough for most targets.

This digger is handmade by a pro, and it is really well build.

The Price was about 20 USD.

I just can't wait to go dirt fishing!

HH.

I'm loving the looks of that. The slight bend will make a difference, me thinks. NICE digger.

Where can I get one of these?

Ebay - only two left....

Search for 'Metal Detecting Stainless Steel digger plug cutter like lesche'

Don't know if they will make more - only time will tell

You have to sharpen the digger yourself - no problem though, since it's 10 minutes of Work, and then it is exactly as You want it.

Dang, shipping is more than the digger. :(

Ive been reading this forum for more than a year. And this thread caught my eye, I remember thinking wow that's a cool digger. So I ordered one.
A few things some of you should know before ordering.
The welding is absolutely awful. And it not all SS the handle is carbon steel with packing tape wrapped around it to make the handle fit. And is also half ass welded.
As soon as I figure out how to post picks I'll load a few.

As for the seller. After a few emails, to his credit he did give me some refund. But I wouldnt buy another.

I guess if I ever made a ugly weld with cold lap like those welds are I'd grind too

There were a lot of problems with those welds, but not any more. I searched all over my work for a ssuitable SS handle. But gave up and just reused the old carbon steel one for now.
