I found this piece while going through some CW relics I had put away. I've seen it before but can't recall what it is. Any help Id'ing is appreciated. Thanks for looking.

I was thinking along the same lines. I'll have to research the various scabbard tips and see what I can find. I was straighting up my collection from 20+ years ago and this popped out to me. I came across over a dozen friction primers too, me and a buddy were digging left and right, behind The Crater at Petersburg and behind Blanton Cemetery. We had written permission at the time to hunt back there...they don't allow it now though!! Good times!!
Thanks for the reply...UPDATE!! Looks to be a variation of a rifleman's knife scabbard tip.

You may have the scabbard tip to an Enfield saber bayonet.
