Let's not rule out Palladium. I have found them just like that. Only thing again is the weight concerns me. But you say it is a small ring. Test that sucker. Let us know !
PD probably would have lost some of the luster by now unless it was dropped last week. I'm guessing PT or most likely.... SS. 3g is very small for Western size and weight
