Hey there!
I found this yesterday in a new spot. Close by I found a tombac button, a brass flat button, some 1910s shotgun shells and a 1935 British penny. A pretty wide date range. Found in central Canada.

This looks old to me. It’s pretty haggard, but I can make out part of the design on one side. A shield with a ribbon underneath, some text around the rim. The penny accurately shows size. It’s slightly thinner than a dime.
Thought maybe a religious pendant?

Anybody recognize the pattern???

It almost looks like the Virgin Mary on the right picture. I've dug a bunch of them that come out looking just as bad. A lot were just copper plated and the plating comes off and the rest of it starts to corrode.
