So was that the number that you got with it? The 16? solid signal? I have never found gold with this machine, I guess I usually skip the lower signals.

Congratulations. Love the ring. You've got more patience than me. If I dug every 16 I ran across on my Nox, I wouldn't get more than about 15 feet on most of the playfields I cover. And that doesn't include the countless zinc pennies everywhere that ring in the 19 - 24 range. It seems that more and more, people just throw pennies away. It's reputed that the Romans salted the earth of Carthage to make it unsuitable for agriculture, and nowadays it seems that many detecting areas are being "salted" with pennies, making them nearly impossible to hunt.
