Was up in Tahoe for a few days. Didn't get much detecting time in save for maybe an hour one evening.
Just got started swinging when a guy came up and stated he'd give me $20 if I could find his kershaw pocket knife. As I was searching where he thought it was lost (beach near picnic table) he said he put his house key on there so he wouldn't lose it.
So after finding a zinc cent, bottle cap, hotwheels car, foil, I was making my way further from him as I conjured up a "sorry doesn't look like I'm going to find it..." I was closer to the water and boom. Scooped his kershaw knife with a key on it.
Felt pretty dang cool to find it. Turned down the $20, lol. Represent! Lol.
No pic, I usually like to hunt alone and not be bothered so I wasn't prepared to snap a pic.
Did find $1.25 in clad, but sadly no gold or silver. Only had about an hour to hunt overall. That's my son's mitt on that car, he really enjoys the hotwheel finds!
Really did feel pretty cool to find the dude's knife though!
