April 1865 civil war in NC comes to light (photo added 1/20)

Recent digs in NC

photo added 1/20/17 showing stippled Block A coat button (H T & B, MANCHESTER backmark), and standard issue stirrup for CS copy of McClellan saddle found with Racer and 4.5" dia coil on 1/19.

Now that's exactly the stuff I'm getting at. Goodness sakes friend what a haul. There's some really beautiful Confederate relics buddy. Is brass the only thing you found? Man you had to dig some lead. Very nice buddy. That's what my dreams look like lol. HH

And the lead that is there is all Charleston high based. Good as some CS buttons.

I'm workin' on a group shot, Tony. Right now, hopefully, I'm still in the collectin' phase!
 
They love that kinda stuff in American Digger magazine. You should send it in !
 
Hey Wayne have you found any colonial relics down in your neck of the woods?
I know there was some Regulator activity close by.
