A local guy is selling an older one in basically new condition.
What general price range should something like this bring?

New ones are about $1200.

Take a look on searchallofcraigslist and see what they bring there. i would think $500 would be a fair price.

I recently acquired a used GTI 2500. Although it's capable machine, it's really quite antiquated and super heavy. There is new tech out there now that is just as capable and much lighter for a similar price range as you might end up paying for that used machine. Unless you're getting it for $100 or less I'd suggest looking at something else.
