Default Rusty Iron Object

I found this rusty iron object in a field Iíve hunted many times before. I believe the site was a farm with possibly a machining or auto repair shop in the 1920s to 1940s. It appears to be a tool or implement of some kind. Does anybody have any thoughts on what this might be?

A bush hog can turn that into a lethal weapon.
