30% vinegar
Home Depot has 30% vinegar in the cleaning supplies section. I tried it straight with gravel in my tumbler and it worked well for dimes, quarters and nickels. Much faster than regular cooking vinegar. They came out shiny in two hours. Some of the dimes were so corroded that Coinstar still rejected them although they were shiny.
