39 Coin Tot Lot

Hello,
Good day today for November. A little frost starting to build up here in the Rocky Mountain State. 39 coins and 1 Chucky Cheese token. a very small overlooked sand playground at the edge of a remote city park. This playground had a merry-go-round. You don't see these any more in the newer tot lots around here. I have never seen so many coins piled up in one place. Anyone every run into this before? Just about 2 feet out around the whole edge of the merry-go-round.

Good job of searching & digging the site ! I have found the same thing around old merry go rounds. As you say, most of them are disappearing fast. I even look for indentations in the ground at tot lots for where the merry go round used to be. Always a hot spot if you find them.
Dont know about other areas but here in Tucson, pop. 800,000, anything that moves is being phased out of the tot lot play areas. steve in so az
