I'm trying to find what I did with them.
They have little black deposits on them.
They are tiny... both are around 1 inch and jagged.
Deffinitely rocks... just small and metal....ish.
I have a feeling they may be meteorites...
They are not shaped like any of the rocks in our area at all...

Can you post a picture of them? I think Meteroites Are mostly Iron with a mix of some metals. It should ping on your MD as Iron.

hmm

i found a hot rock like that on the beach, it sorta looked like coal, but less shiny. It hit as iron. I should have kept it but i got distracted by a beautiful lady and threw it in the sand as i ran after her . . . . . . ;)

Many meteorites have no metal content... check out a few sites.. lots of information and pictures - google is your friend. RickO

Here ya go.
They dont look like meteorites to me.
They have some kind of black deposit on them.
Maybe Graphite. These are the best pics I could get.
I'm pretty sure though Graphite isn't natural in Winchester, VA.
Let me know what you think.
I found these guys right next to eachother.
