This was a beach find in Massachusetts. All these items were found in a 60' area. I found loads of musket balls lead buttons, a few brass buckles and several king gorge 1/2 pennies being in rough shape from the salt water but one has a visible date of 1749. I also found some smaller copper coins that look too far gone to make them out. My feeling is someone dropped some kind of bag our pouch possibly revolutionary war? Can anyone help me identify the small copper coins found with the king George? I have a picture of the coin in question against a white background with a king George for a comparison. The one example I could find with any visible markings appears to have some faint writing along the left edge. A head can be made out and appears to be facing to the right.

Wow excellent finds! Looks like the remnants of Irma may have removed some sand possibly. I would say they are some kind of halfpenny. I cant believe no silver showed up, that looks like and epic spill of some kind, maybe a ship sank in that area holding a lot of coins. Very nice! Congrats!
Just a shot in the dark... To me it looks like a king william III half penny or farthing as suggested by toasted.
