My 2 boys and myself were at my parents house on Wednesday cutting the grass.
After we finished we decided to metal detect a little.
My parents place was built in the 70's and before that it was just woods. So we weren't expecting anything to old.
We found the normal junk then a 1980's dime.
Then we got a loud signal. Out pops a quarter! Score!
I've taught my boys that you ALWAYS rescan a hole before closing it up.
They reminded me like good boys.
Bam another signal and another quarter!
Scan again and bam another signal, this time 2 pennies.
Thinking that had to be it we rescanned again and bam again. A nickel!
Scan again and Bam another quarter!
Then the well ran dry. . Oh well.
82 cents from one pocket spill made all our days and it was all my boys could talk about on the ride home.
