So went back to my "honey hole" across the pond again. Arrived this morning from Washington state. Hit the same general area where I found the Morgan silver dollar a month ago. Spent 1 1/2 hours hunting while my wife went shopping. Found a few wheaties and a nice 1942P Washington.

Also found a foreign coin that looks British or Mexican (in photo). It was the size of a Large Cent which gave my head a pause, but it is clearly foreign and I can just make out the crown on the figure's head. Would love some help id'ing it.. It is soaking right now.

HH all.

Well after a little soak in hot water, turns out it is a 1924 Australian One Penny. A first for me.... This is the historical part of hunting this specific area that I love... It was an Army base as far back as 1920 through present day. Makes sense that we had a few Aussies helping us out. :-)

Congrats on the Silver GW and the Aussie big Penny Paul. Those trips to the Islands are being very rewarding for you. I have a little envy as temps are dropping to the low 20's at night here in Wisconsin. Trapper

Yea, the season is changing back home for me too, maybe another month before I will have to take a break. TY

Really cool finds, congrats!
