Brand spanking new, what is it!

Hi all I just got my very first detector and was so excited I ran in back yard, in lower SE Michigan, and dug this up from 7" down. I know it's just iron junk but I would still like to know what it is! Those 2 pieces spin on that bolt, it's not tight, at least anymore. Thanks!

Reminds me of some sort of handle or linkage for something but really could be about anything. Maybe try cleaning it up a big more and it may help.
