The last Saturday of December 2013 was sunny and almost 50 degrees here in Ohio !
Finally got a break in the Winter weather ... on a day that I didn't have to work !

I decided to go back and hunt a section of woods behind a 1800's Church that has given up some good finds in the past.
Found a total of approx. ( 35 ) old coins and pieces of jewelry at this site so far - Barber's, V-Nickel's, Buffalo's, Indians, Mercs, etc.

Yesterdays hunt was a welcome break from the bad weather ... a warm sunny day in December and a Dime Trifecta - a great way to end the year !

Happy Hunting & Happy New Year !

great hunt - maybe they held church functions (picnics, bazaars, etc.) there before the woods grew back?
