A NJ toll road token, found in AZ

Man the stories this thing must have. Was hunting the same park I found the merc at a couple weeks ago, went well off the park area and was in some hard packed dirt by a telephone pole. I believe this rang up in the 60-70 range on my F2. It had a nice "ping" to it so was hoping for silver. Was about 5-6" down. Was not disappointed to find a cool token like this even though it wasn't a silver coin.

That token is a long way from home!

These were used on the Garden State Parkway in NJ. I used to buy rolls of these tokens in the late 1980s when I commuted up the parkway to Newark. I don't think they're used anymore - most of the commuters have EZPass these days.

Congrats on a cool find - I always like finding tokens.
