I got 7 more silvers today at Silver Mountain. I am on a quest to get 100 for the year. Today's finds puts me at 98! Just 2 more and I can relax a bit. I got the bigger 17" coil for the CTX for Christmas and must say, I like it a lot. I have not found any super deep targets to speak of yet but the swath that it covers is amazing. And while I can tell it is heavier, it is not bad. From all that I had read, I was worried that it would be too much to swing for long periods of time. I now have 2 5+hour hunts with it and can't complain. I also got the Lesche Relic shovel and while it too is heavier, I love the plugs you can cut with it. I would love to see the Sampson handle on the Relic shovel. I will only get a couple of hours in tomorrow but I am hoping to clench that 100 goal first thing in the AM.

What a wonderful day you have had. 7 Silvers is a major accomplishment and that CTX and you are becoming one. I'm very sure you will reach the century mark without to much of a problem. Congrats! Jack

Congrats on the silver! I got the 17" coil recently and it's not bad at all to swing IMO

You hit the nail no the head! I got 5 more today for a total of 103. I still have some hunting time left though so I may add even more.
