Hi I’m new here actually my first post. I have 2 Excalibur metal detectors one is basically new used it maybe 10 time tops and I have an older blue 1000 3.1 board it’s been modified already with a coil change connector and a set of grey ghost headphones that can be disconnected not hardwired I have no clue who did the work before I’m needing a coil for that one as the Excalibur 2 is complete original I have a minelab slimline 10” coil that’s almost new very very little use I was thinking of trying that coil on the 1000 since I already have it only issue is it’s not a BBS coil it’s a FBS coil will it still work or should I sell it before I cut the connector off and wire a new connector to work with what’s on the 1000 it has the ip68 4pin has Anyone ever don’t this or know more of a reason it will or won’t work the coil looks basically same visually size and base as my excal2
