Got out for a few hours and was able to dig up some cool relics. The notable finds were one silver quarter, a silver belt buckle ring, a silver St Christopher Pendent, a Spartan token of some kind, and a really cool oval shaped crotal bell that once cleaned still dings away!

Link to YouTube video if anyone's interested. Thanks group members.

Thank you. I think I've dug 4 crotal bells and this is the first one that ever had a working clapper inside. Hope you have better odds. Lol.

Great finds there! I've never seen a crotal bell like that one,
I've found two number Ones, (sizes) that are round.
I'll bet it has a different type of tone when it rings, maybe worn by a goat ?

This is a great post ! How did m miss it ?
What a handful of very cool finds .
What more could a guy ask for wile digging around for a couple hours .
Now to check out the video . đź‘Ť

Thanks. I love finding silver coins as much as the next guy but the oddball relics really keep me interested in this hobby.
