Hey everyone,
New guy to metal detecting and really look forward to sharing what I find. I know I'll need help preserving what I find. I live north of Yorktown VA. Hopefully lots of cool artifacts to share. I'll be diving all over with a Minelab Excalibur II. :)
 
If someone with the handle "scuba detective" comes to chime in on your post, don't believe a word of it. He tries to come across as a big shot scuba diver, with all sorts of hair-raising tall tales. We try to keep him on his med's, but .... sometimes he slips up and starts spinning yet another yarn. :cool3:

I just arrived at Ft. Eustis. Let me know if you are interested in going detecting (on land) sometime.
