Moved on from the silver site and worked a older FIELD that was a stage coach stop in the 1700's And early 1800's.
Its across the street from where ive found 4 draped busts and a couple kg's
I found a 1807 in decent shape but the 7 got chipped off. Also found a 1938 dog tag And a "knights of pythious" medal. Anyone know anything about the medal? It says 1908 Boston supreme lodge 25 Biennial. F B C in the three corner The middle is what I believe is the Vermont seal? Says freedom And unity. Weird that Boston would have a Vermont seal.
Thnx

You are in a prime spot. Maybe I should come visit haha. I doubt I’ll find a bust around here.

Thank u
Its funny how we all want things we cant have (or find)
I have dug probably 15 draped busts and close to 75 large cents. This year ive dug ten seated coins and twenty five or so barbers.
I have dug one mercury dime and ZERO Roosevelt's or Washington's! (Boo hoo right? Haha)

Heres my point.
All I want to find is a Walker half. And a Ben Franklin. Ive never done it. I got four barber halfs this year. But, I cannot tell u how badly I want to pop a Walker outta the ground.

I see all these guys out west digging 100's of silver coins and they all say they wish they could find one large cent. And there's us east guys who just want some quantity of silver coins now and then. And are not very excited digging toasted large cents that you gotta scrape soak and use a magnifying glass to guess the date.
I just thought it was funny how we always are not content And want more and want what we cant have. In life and detecting.

Haha. That sounded like something DR. PHIL WOULD SAY.

Thanks again.
