Going to be there in a few days. Is the beach good for detecting? Any other suggestions?
I’ll be staying along the sound east of Gulf Breeze and will detect the beach around the dock but am looking for other places to possibly go.

I was there in the early 70's, (NAS Pensacola), all I remember about those beaches were that it was real easy to get burned, of course it was after a day of drinking beer on the beach...... ahh, youth! :lol:

Ft. Pickens was held by the confederates but is off limits. I know there were also confederate troops in Escambia County around Molino.
