I currently have a Delta 4000 that I've been using for last few years. Ive been very happy with it! But it's a pretty basic detector and I'm kinda wanting one with more features such as ground balancing.

I've seen a lot of good things about the Nokta simplex and wonder if it'd be worth upgrading. Anyone use both before and have a preference for one or the other? Or maybe there's another detector in the same price range as the simplex that you'd recommend?

I've looked into those as well. I do like the multi IQ feature on those detectors. But the simplex is waterproof which would allow me to use it at the numerous lakes in my area. Not sure which feature appeals to me more haha

I will definitely have to take a look at these when they are officially announced. Looks like they're supposed to be an announcement May 15th

Now that the Garrett apex has been announced it seems like a good solid choice as well. But the pricing isnt real appealing to me
