Think it's time to upgrade to an at pro. More features, vdi, it's water proof...Is there any other detectors that compare to the at pro for the land/freshwater combo that isn't really expensive like the ctx? Or is the at pro the only one in its class for the price....

If you want a waterproof detector with visual target ID in that price range, I think the AT Pro is your only option. There are many good land detectors but no other waterproof models that I can think of, if you like the 250 you'll probably love the AT PRO and having ground balance, better coil, and the other extra's will be of great benefit.
