I stole this quote from Terry55 in one of his post. It caught my eye immediately because I belong to a IT site that prides themselves on ethics in this field. So I can see why it would be important here too.

So my question is what are the rules to being a good MD?
I agree with not robbing graves.
Picking up trash just makes sense.
Refilling your holes.
Asking permission on private land.
Is there anything else I need to be aware of? Is there a rule book on this site that I just haven't found yet?

Thank you BillV!!! Love the link. Now I'm on to google to see what else I can find. ;)

Always ask permission, never assume you'll go unnoticed, this is worse. Always be upfront with what you're doing, cover your holes, and digging smallest is best. If asked to leave, just leave quietly. Most importantly, talk openly about your hobby with those who ask, or take an interest, for your enthusiasum will rub off onto them. A happy observer is best.
