After reading all of these posts reminds me of one of the reasons I don't post finds. Max is to be congratulated on his find......period. He found it, he can decide what he wants to do with it. Making up what the previous owner may have done with his life is pure speculation and how rumors get started. It would be nice if everybody would post facts. Fact is Max found the ring and owns it. :yes:

If not, why would he own so many metal detectors and be out there everyday for so many hours?
