Eagle Button Of Unknown Origin At Cellar Hole?

Went back to a cellar hole that I have hunted very hard trying to make something happen. The first hour no signals and the ice cold rain wasn't helping matters. Kept trying every angle and moving dead falls till finally a good signal and out popped the button. Kept ranging out further from the hole, but the rest of the hunt was junk pile. When I got home and removed the crud from the button, it revealed an eagle head. It's pretty cool and the back sais EXTRA FEIN. It made the 3 hours in the cold rain worth it.

Any ideas on this one??

The button is the exact same size as a Washington Quarter.

HH All!

Thanks for the explanation Dave!

Thanks for the explanation and pic Dave! Thats a nice selection.
Do any of your buttons say Extra Fein. I think it's German.

I am a little bummed no military connection, but it is a very cool button.
Never heard the term sportsman or livery button, but now I have another learned term. :wow::wow:
