While chatting with one of my customers today about firearms, I mentioned that my interest in guns has waned as of late due to my renewed interest in MD'ing.
He says, "I wish you'd come out to my place and see what you can find."
Turns out he owns a farm a few miles from my place of business which has been consistently inhabited since the late 1800's. There are a couple of old barns, the foundation from the original house, two old cellars, and it has a wagon trail that pre-dates the Civil War running through the property.
My mind instantly started flashing images of Indian Heads, Seated coins, Barbers, and anything else that has been minted since the early 19th century!! Not to mention nearly two centuries worth of potential relics!
Can't wait to hunt and report back with what I find at this place!!
Any tips on how to hunt such a spread are very welcome.
