new to hobby

hey there,

i am from northern vermont (milton)
and would like some info for sites, or other people in my area.
i have some places in mind but would like some others.
also i wanted to ask, twice a year the family goes to hampton beach nh,
anyone here know how difficult this beach is.
i have a ace 250...should be delivered tomorrow.
any tips for my area would also be nice.
any metal detecting laws for vermont?
