Would one of these work as a pinpointer?

I ran across this while surfing the net. This is so much cheaper than an actual pinpointer I was thinking using it instead of the whites bullseye.
Has anyone ever used one of these?

I doubt it... It's too big. You'd have to dig a pretty darn big hole to get that in there. I had a vibraprobe 560 and it worked great.

These instruments are made to find weapons not small items like coins especially in the ground. terry has a great suggesstion. The Vibraprobe is a great probe and water resistant also.
