Can anyone help me? What is the most affordable metal detector for land and water? Specifically salt water.

The Equinox, while not a ‘cheap’ machine is worth holding out for, instead of buying a lesser machine that won’t really get the job done on land and salt water.

Yep.. The 600 or 800. If you're gonna do it, do it right the first time. I dropped $800 bucks on lesser machines thinking I knew better.
