Hi, Anyone use a Tesoro Silver Sabre U-Max?

Got the chance of a reasonably priced one ( wont tell you how much..you

would laugh..there a lot cheaper in the USA )

What are they like? ( not looks ) Depth etc any good? Any good on the beach? Any other " owners "

advice/tips please. Think they are internally the same as the Laser rapier ( Uk

model ) are they? The rapiers are highly rated. So if the silver sabre u-max

is the same ( internally ) it would be good, someone on here must know?????

Oh all right its $200 (?100)

I had a Silver uMax years ago, it is a very good detector (as are all Tesoro's). It is nice & light, gets decent depth's,lifetime warranty,it will find the goodies for ya! Steve.

Thanks Steve, But the Silver Sabre U-max is different to the Silver U-max ,the

sabre has more controls. Chop

Silver Sabre

I have both a silver sabre umax and a silver umax. The sabre is about eight years older but it is the best of the two detectors. The sabre has no motion all metal mode that is activated by a pinpoint button(which works great). It also has a threshhold adjustment which allows you to supertune to get a little more depth. I use three different size coils 4 in, 8.5 in and 10x12in. They all work just as you would suspect. Very quiet machine. I would definitely reccomend it if you are getting a good deal. Hope this helps.
