well, I spent a few hours with a friend trying to recover a ring lost in the lake. Conditions were horrible. Big waves, dark murky water and way to vast of an area to cover, so no luck there.
On my way back home I was checking out some old houses that I had always wanted to look into....well, this one particular house was gone !!!! I whipped the car around and figured I'd better at least check out the curb strip beside it until I can track down the owner.....10 minutes and I scored two mercs
will be trying to get that permission for sure, since the yard seems to be not detected yet, and,...last year I scored a large cent and few other coins at the neighboring lot.
With my work schedule, I never would have even thought of setting a goal of 50 for this year , but ,since I'm this close, thats what I'm gonna shoot for. Seems like it should be attainable in 3 months.

I thought I would have looked at the date , but now I don't recall if I ever did......I think it was a surface find and thats why I never bothered. It appears to be a 1964.
